What is the relevance of the << to cout?

Well i cant say much because i know only a little bit about c++ but when you want to print something by using cout you send it to the output which means you want to output something, when you use >> you want to input something by using the user input (cin >> ). Thats my best answer for you sorry if it wasnt very useful
