Does she like me or am I just a friend to her?

I've known this girl for two years and I've liked her in the past but she has never shown an interest in me. Recently we hungout and I went on a walk with her and it was just us two. During our conversation she replied to something I said by saying "awww Dan your such a nice guy, your going to make a girl really happy one day." a week after that she asked me to go on another walk but I wasn't able to. Finally, I decided to man up so I tried getting with her at my friends party, but she showed no interest in me again. Does she like me or am I just someone for her to vent to? And what does that mean when a girl saying something like what she said?
