I love my boyfriend but he's breaking my heart?

I was on skype with him and he was taking forever to respond. I was really upset and venting to him about friendship issues. Finally he cam back and he went into this story about how his dad randomly started talking to him which distracted him. Then he said he had to go and that i should text him. I've been texting him and he hasn't been responding. This is really upsetting my b/c I count on him for support when im upset and he's not being there for me. I've been texting him for around 45 minutes with no response.
