Milly Dowler trial - irrelevant questions?

but, any good defence barrister would use the evidence of 'sad notes' written by milly herself and that she was distressed at finding her dad's collection of bondage pornography and the fact she had said, ''i'll be up there, or down there'' - heaven or hell ? and use that as a possible get out clause for bellfield, they played on this to suggest she was unhappy and may of killed herself. a courtroom is not a pleasant place to be for witness, defendant or victim but we can't censor what the barristers do and do not say.
